Assigned to Nitec’s Technical Services Team, the appointees will receive the national wage for their age group and be expected to take up the post in June 2025 until June 2026 in line with their course.
Key Responsibilities
Whilst not an exhaustive list of responsibilities, the successful candidate should expect their days to include;
- Handling customer IT requests.
- Provide IT support to Nitec’s customers.
- Troubleshooting various IT issues.
- Resolving customer queries to achieve outcomes with excellence.
- Assist with software and hardware related queries, working to provide solutions.
- Engage with cloud technologies.
- Reference and utilise technical documentation to support customer needs.
- Prepare detailed technical notes on IT solutions.
- Collaborate with various departments to provide the best solution for Nitec customers.
- Go above and beyond to assist Nitec customers in “doing the right thing.”
- Stay curious - continuously learn about new technologies.
As you grow and develop in your role, these responsibilities may differ, however they will always be reasonable with sufficient training provided.
You may also be placed in various teams within our Technical Services Department based on your interests and skill growth requirements.

The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who;
- Has the ability to demonstrate a sound technical approach to problem solving.
- Enjoys problem solving, and providing solutions.
- Is organised, with excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
- Is a people person, with strong interpersonal skills.
- Is confident and warm in dealing with customers.
- Has excellent and adaptable communication skills.
- Has a background or strong interest in technology.
- Excels in team environments.
- Has a proactive and curious mindset.
- Can follow procedural tasks with accuracy.
- Whilst not essential, a clean driver’s licence and access to a car would be an advantage.
